Jen and Brad got married on a lovely summer’s day in June. The bridal preparations and reception venue was the beautiful 16th century Wethele Manor in Warwickshire. After starting at the Manor for Jen’s bridal preparations the ceremony then took place at St Margaret’s Church in Whitnash.
It was an absolutely scorching day, the sun was shining, flowers were in full bloom and bees were buzzing. The grounds at Wethele are beautiful with great views over the wonderful rolling Warwickshire countryside.
I was a little bit nervous about doing the photography coverage for this wedding as Jen has a degree in photography (pressures on!) and sometimes two different photographers can have separate views as to the way they would shoot a particular event. So I was thrilled to receive a wonderful testimonial from Jen and Brad a few weeks after their wedding to say how pleased they were with the photographs of their big day (you can see their comments on my Kind Words page).
Some of my photography highlights from this wedding are the shots of the dress and flowers in the gardens of Wethele, the little bird drinking from the ornate urn, the shots of Jen on the white wrought iron bench and also some of the couple portraits, especially the later ones at dusk.
I hope you enjoy viewing this small selection of the wedding photographs of Jen and Brad’s day. When finished why not check out some of my best wedding photography.
