Shooting wedding photography at Hampton Manor is becoming a bit of a regular occurrence for me, which is great as a wedding photographer as it has to be one of Warwickshire’s most beautiful wedding venues. Not just because of the Manor itself but also the landscaped gardens and décor, the Parlour room in particular, which has recently been refurbished, is absolutely gorgeous with a lovely pastel colour palette and exquisite furnishings.
The Hampton Manor Estate dates back to the 11th century when it was first recorded in the Domesday Book, a great land survey commissioned by William the Conqueror and completed in 1086. Much later it was owned by British Prime Minster Sir Robert Peel.
Leanne and Damien’s wedding was such a stunning affair and took place on a gloriously sunny April day. They actually got married at St Mary’s and St Bartholomew’s Church in Hampton in Arden which is just a short walk through the gardens of Hampton Manor itself.
Some of the photography highlights for me include the loads of great couple portraits I got of Leanne and Damien, both in the gardens and inside the Manor itself. My two favourite locations are The Parlour, where I got some lovely portraits of Leanne and her bridesmaids and also the main entrance to the Manor where I got some great shots of Leanne and Damien sat at opposite ends of a long table. I also really like the early portraits of the little flower girl sat in the window, particularly the black and white one where she is looking out of the window. After I sent Leanne and Damien their photos I got this wonderful email from them:
We have received the pictures today and WOW!! They are fantastic. We were speechless with every photograph.
We would like to thank you so much for being able to photograph our wedding. You were great and the pictures reflect that.
Thank you again.
All the best for your future weddings.
Leanne and Damien
