The following wedding photography is just a small selection of the beautiful day that was Faye and Matthew’s wedding day.
It was an absolutely gorgeous English Saturday at the end of May, glorious sunshine, big white fluffy clouds, stunning landscapes, bluebells, sheep, horses, a beautiful hall and grounds and oh yeah, the FA Cup final!
Faye and Matthew chose the wonderful Somerford Hall for their ceremony and reception. Designed in the Palladian style the hall is set in 100 acres of lovely landscaped parkland in South Staffordshire and it was a pleasure to shoot my first wedding here, may there be many more! During the wedding breakfast I went for a little walk around the parkland and it is just so fabulous with rolling fields and its own lake.
I knew Faye and Matthew were going to be a super couple to photograph when I first met them about a month before the big day for their pre wedding Loved Up Shoot. They were so relaxed and easy going and Faye has the most infectious smile.
Some of the photography highlights for me include all the great portraits of the married couple, some stunning individual portraits of Faye, which includes some of the best unintentional photo bombing I’ve ever seen! It really was a fun day and think this comes across in the amount of laughter, smiles and joy I managed to get of all the family and guests. They also had one of the best close up magic magicians I’ve ever seen. One amazing trick he did was to get two cards and then he got Faye and Matthew to write their names on each card, he then somehow managed to blend the two cards together into one single card with their names on either side, unbelievable!
I hope you enjoy looking through this small selection of Faye and Matthew’s wedding photos. When finished you can check out some other Real Weddings from the menu above or click here to view some of my best wedding photography.
