“‘Cause my darling, you and I, could take over the world. And one step at a time, just you and I (just you and I). ‘Cause you’re the only one, who brings light just like the sun. One step at a time, just you and I (just you and I)”.

Your wedding wouldn’t be complete without you two. In fact it would be so incomplete you’d hardly even describe it as your wedding at all!

Now I love my wife and everything. But when I look back at our own wedding photos of just the two of us I think we have maybe three, just three, photos that we’re happy to have framed and on show. I promise you will have dozens. In fact you’ll have so many you’ll struggle for weeks to decide which ones you’re going to get printed out!

Most couples say they don’t like having their photo taken or that they don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. Relax, one of the things I’m really really really good at is putting couples at ease so they loosen up and start to enjoy being photographed. Actually, I’ll rephrase that. They don’t enjoy being photographed! What happens is they get so caught up in what I’ve asked them to do or say, the act of them being photographed becomes secondary in their minds and so it creates a joyful carefreeness and I just photograph that (ohh that was deep!). This enjoyment then comes across in the photos. You can see more on how I do this on my Loved Up photo shoot page.

Working quickly on your wedding day I don’t take you away for hours to get stunning portraits. I usually need just two lots of 10 minutes throughout the whole day. As well as these more controlled portraits I’ll also be snapping away getting some of the more natural candid type shots of you together or on your own. I’m going to get you photos that when your mates see them they’ll go “bloody hell that’s beautiful”!
