Following is some of the wedding photography of Tara and Marc who got married on a beautiful late August afternoon at Water Orton Parish Church near Birmingham before heading to the lovely Shustoke Barns, which is a fairly new wedding venue in Warwickshire. I first met up with them in the summer of 2013 and we hit it off straight away, I knew they were going to be a great couple to get some fun wedding photographs of.
One of the best segments of a wedding day I love to capture are the speeches, it’s the time when all the official stuff has been completed and everybody is beginning to relax. There were some wonderful moments during these guys speeches, Tara’s sister getting a bit teary, Adam, Marc’s brother, threatening to behead one of Marc’s childhood teddy bears (cruel!) and some of the reactions of their guest’s was just priceless, I really love that section of photographs below.
Some of the photography highlights from this wedding for me are the early ones when the brides maids are getting ready and you can see the view of two rooms at the same time - it sort of tells two stories at once, the reflection/transparency at the church doors, the sequence of shots of the guests peering into the wedding breakfast room, the shot of the stencil/transfer of a sheep on a window with a guest outside beyond the glass looking down as though he was looking at the sheep, talk about perfect timing! Also the couple portraits of Tara and Marc in the courtyard and grounds of Shustoke.
