Jen and Phil at Hampton Manor

The following wedding photography of Jen and Phil’s day were all taken at the wonderful Hampton Manor near Solihull, Warwickshire. It was a lovely January day, a little chilly but nice and bright and it stayed dry all day. The Manor and its grounds are absolutely gorgeous and although I had shot a wedding reception there last year it was the first time I had actually photographed a civil ceremony which takes place in The Birches, a lovely bright and gorgeously decorated outbuilding within the grounds of Hampton itself. I started the day getting a few photographs of Jen’s preparations, including her beautiful Justin Alexander wedding dress, the flowers, the shoes and just capturing the morning atmosphere really. I’m really pleased with some of the little flower girl’s photos sat on the window sill, they just have a timeless elegance about them that I love to capture. Some of the other photography highlights for me are the speeches (so funny), the portraits of Jen and Phil in their Bridal Suite and also the dance floor action, I love a great party, hopefully the energy and party atmosphere comes across in these shots, there certainly was a few party animals rocking the dance floor.
