Rebecca and Nas at Nuthurst Grange

Nuthurst Grange in Solihull, Warwickshire is proving to be a very popular venue for my wedding photography having shot several times there over the past year or so. Indeed Rebecca and Nas’ wedding was the second in two days that I covered in April earlier this year.

It was a typical April showers day with several small rain incidents throughout the wedding day but nothing too severe to put a dampener on things.

Rebecca and Nas had some great touches for their day including a fantastic all female vintage singing trio who kept all the guests entertained in one of the beautiful sitting rooms of Nuthurst, it really helps set the scene when you have the appropriate surroundings and environment to match in with your theme! Talking of which, a couple of portraits I took of Rebecca were taken in the restaurant, every time I look at them she just reminds me of some sort of Edwardian era Lady or Duchess, or like someone straight out of Downton Abbey!

Other photography highlights for me include the many great portraits I got of Rebecca and Nas, some of the later individual portraits of Rebecca in the bridal suite and also the cigar smoking one of Nas. One of the things I really like about some of the bridal suite portraits of Rebecca is that apart from the vintage lamp behind her it’s really hard to narrow down what era the photograph was taken in (nothing worse than a vintage bride in a classic pose in black and white with a dozen signs of modernity in the background!!).
