“So no one told you life was gonna be this way. Your job’s a joke, you’re broke, your love life’s D.O.A. It’s like you’re always stuck in second gear, when it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, but I’ll be there for you….”

The Rembrandts

One of the main concerns couples have about their wedding photography on the day is the dreaded group shots. Uncomfortable people all stood together in a boring straight line, blokes with their hands clasped in front of their privates, everyone straight on to the camera, yawn fest or what!

You do not want to be that couple that when your friends talk about your wedding they say “oh yeah great day, food was fantastic, speeches were hilarious but flippin’ ‘eck the photographer with the group shots was a right PITA”! Well I tell you something now sister, I’m not having it and neither should you!!

You want your group shots and shots with your mates to be fun, to have energy, to show real laughs between the people closest to you. You do not want a photo with the best man shaking the groom’s hand while holding open the ring boxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, I’m even dropping off myself here!

Let’s make this enjoyable yeah? I would say one of the main differences between me and some other wedding photographers is my ability to get people to interact with each other in a fun way. Look at these beauts, these are all examples of what used to be called “formal” photographs. Don’t get me wrong I do like getting a classic family photo to put on the mantelpiece but hey, let’s have some fun while we’re doing it!
